Three of our attorneys were recently named to the 2020 Super Lawyers® and/or Rising Stars℠ membership lists.
Our attorneys who were recently recognized include:
- Attorney Scott R. Jackson: Scott was named to the Super Lawyers® 2020 list, primarily for his work on personal injury – general: plaintiff cases. He has been selected to Super Lawyers® every year since 2013, making this 2020 selection his eighth consecutive selection.
- Attorney Michael J. O’Rear: Michael was named to the 2020 Rising Stars℠ list, primarily for his work on civil litigation: plaintiff cases. This selection is his first but will probably not be his last given his impressive legal skills.

What are Super Lawyers® & Rising Stars℠?
Super Lawyers® is widely regarded as the most trustworthy source for honest reviews and ratings of legal professionals around the globe. The organization uses a patented multistep selection process that begins with candid nominations, continues with an examination of a dozen key factors, and concludes with a Blue Ribbon panel review. Each year, no more than 5% of all practicing attorneys in a region and a practice area will earn a Super Lawyers® membership.
Rising Stars℠ is a subsection of Super Lawyers® that is reserved for up-and-coming legal professionals. The same selection process is used to choose annual members. However, a Rising Stars℠ member must be either under the age of 40 or in practice for less than 10 years. Due to the added restrictions, no more than 2.5% of attorneys will be given this title each year.
