Who are Rising Stars℠ Members?
Rising Stars℠ is an organization from Super Lawyers® that recognizes bright and promising legal professionals who are nearer to the beginning of their careers. Specifically, a Rising Stars℠ member must be younger than 40 or have less than 10 years of practice experience. Despite these two prerequisites, the attorneys who are named as Rising Stars℠ members exhibit skill as if they have spent decades representing clients and working tough cases.
In addition to being young or relatively new to a legal career, Rising Stars℠ members are expected to be outstanding in many other ways. To be chosen, an attorney must first pass a rigorous examination and analysis conducted by Super Lawyers®. A patented multistep selection process is used, which utilizes nominations, characteristic preferences, and a Blue Ribbon panel to make annual membership selections. By the time the intense process ends, no more than 2.5% of active attorneys in a region and practice area can be named as a Rising Stars℠ member, making the group one of the most prestigious in the world.
