Attorney Scott Jackson recently obtained a $55,000 jury verdict in Payne County District Court for a 23-year-old man who sustained a left shoulder rotator cuff tear sustained in an automobile collision that was caused by a negligent driver.
The negligent driver was insured by State Farm, and State Farm's attorney provided the defense. State Farm continually maintained that the 23-year-old was born with a rotator cuff deformity that couldn't have been sustained in the collision because the client didn't complain of the injuries immediately after the collision. Prior to trial, State Farm offered Scott's client $2,400.
